Custom moon phases that capture the exact phase of the moon on your special date, hand painted in any colour. Whether a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, first date, wedding anniversary, adoption date, divorce date, moving date, date began FMT / EHT, or special milestone in you or a loved one's life, commemorate the occasion with a totally unique and one-of-a-kind hand painted phase of the moon.ย ย
PROCESS:
1. Select the colour paper you prefer - either white watercolour paper, or black watercolour paper.ย
2.ย Decide on a date (eg. - October 11th, 2012) and include it in your order.
3. Choose a colour for your moon. You can chose from the popular colours listed, or message me and I can work on a custom colour just for you (see "CUSTOM COLOURS" section below).
4.ย I will research the exact illumination for your date (eg. 40% illuminated waning crescent), and will provide a mock-up of your moon for approval so you know what to expect.
5. I will begin painting your moon phase to your specifications only once I receive approval.
CUSTOM COLOURS:
If you have a custom colour you would like your moon to be, send me a photo of your ideal colour. It could be anything; a vintage box of tea, a childhood sock, your child's favourite t-shirt, or even an old bra. Zero judgement here. I will try my best to match your custom colour perfectly.
PRODUCTION TIME:
Depending on the time of year, it can take between 1-3 business days from when I receive your approval.ย

- Page: 30.5cm H x 23cm W (12in. H x 9in. W)
- Moon: diameter of 15cm / 6in.

PACKAGING:
Every hand painted moon is carefully placed in an eco-clear protective bag (that is a completely compostable alternative to cellophane), and supported with an individual piece of cardboard to keep it flat. It is placed in an easy-tear rigid mailer made from 70% recycled material, and sealed with biodegradable tape to make sure it's extra safe on its journey.
